He is doing a good to great job .. BUT ... whoever decided to give Guardiola the job as team manager deserves a lot of the credit. If Laporta is the one who made that decision, then he is a genius. If not, then he is mainly lucky.
ReplyDeleteI think it wasn't Laporta who came up with the name of Guardiola, Anony. Although he probably deserves credit for pushing the choice through.
ReplyDeleteyes it was this girl that used to be a vp or board member or something. i read that somewhere. pep was actually both an inspired choice and a risky one, only a girl could come up with options like that :D
ReplyDeleteI don't want to ruin things for you, Anonymous ( ;) ), but it is believed that it was (male) board member Evarist Murtra who was Guardiola's strongest supporter.
ReplyDeleteAt the time of the appointment of Guardiola, there was only one female board member: Claudia Vives-Fierro (who left in July last year).
