Catalaan radio station RAC1 claims that Barcelona president Joan Laporta has decided to no longer support Barcelona first vice-president Alfons Godall in the elections for president because of Godall's negotiations with former Barcelona vice-president Ferran Soriano. Laporta would now support Barcelona assets vice-president Jaume Ferrer.
Spanish news agency EFE has confirmed the news.
