Catalan radio station Catalunya Ràdio claims that Barcelona vice-presidents Alfons Godall and Jaume Ferrer are at this moment holding a meeting in Barcelona. The meeting would have started at 7 pm local time.
First vice-president Godall would have invited assets vice-president Jaume Ferrer to talk about the situation ahead of the presidential elections later this year and to try to form one united board candidacy. This is believed to be one of the last chances to find an agreement.
Three weeks ago, the two possible candidates would already have held a similar meeting but Ferrer would then have rejected the offer of Godall to join his group. Tomorrow will there will be a limited board meeting during or after which the elections will be discussed.
